A Community Coming Together for Climate Action
This event wasn’t just about learning practical skills – it was about reconnecting with the value of what we already have. Whether it was sewing up a tear, sanding down a table, or repairing a puncture, each small act reflected the event’s central message: Small Actions = Big Impact
By extending the life of the things we use every day, we reduce waste, lower our carbon footprint, and take positive steps toward a more sustainable future.
The day was also a brilliant opportunity to highlight the work of local organisations committed to climate action and community development. It reminded us that sustainability is not just a buzzword – it’s something we can all participate in through practical, achievable actions.
